I would like to dedicate my experience at the OIAF to Dominique Forget, who made this happen to me!
                                                                    Me with Dominique!
I would also dedicate my experience to the filmmakers, volunteers, staff, juries, and the people who were at the OIAF 2013! You guys rock!!!!!!!

Two things about this video!
1. Eloi Henroid made this video on an airplane!
2. The reason why there's a Jesus on a cross in the video is because the awards ceremony was at St Brigid's Centre for the Arts, which used to be a church!

Hope you enjoyed my OIAF series! See you in my next post!

My experience at the OIAF... (Part 3)

I really loved the short! You can see the short in theaters when the movie Frozen comes out to theatres! The whole thing was excellent and I learned how they made the short! Here's a  few picture of me with Lauren MacMullan (Fun Fact: Did you know that she is the first female director to ever work in Disney?) and the legendary  Disney animator, Eric Goldberg (He is one of the few Disney animators who still knows how to do 2D animation and he directed Pocahontas).

                                                                 Me with Lauren MacMullan!
                                                                  Me with Eric Goldberg!
Oh by the way, did I tell you that they were handing out posters to be signed by Eric and Lauren?

Achilles, A Hero who Died Just Because of his Heel!

Welcome back to the Odysseus hall of fame! Today were going to present....
                            Achilles!

Let me tell you Achilles back story...

When Achilles was a baby, her mom Hera brought her to the river of sphinx. The river has magical powers to make you invincible or other known as immortal. Hera decided to dump him in the river and make him invincible. But what Hera did not know was that she was holding Achilles by the heel. So all of his body except his heel was invincible. When Achilles was older and was an adult, he joined Odysseus and his crew to fight in the trojan war. 5 years later, when Achilles was in war, the trojans knew Achilles secret. So in the middle of battle, one of the trojans threw an arrow at Achilles heel. Sadly, the trojan that threw the arrow must of won a gold medal in Archery at the olympics and aimed very well. Achilles died. Did you know another word for the heel is the achilles?

See you in my next post!!!

                 ThOdysseuHall ofame

Heres a little bit of info on Odysseus. Odysseus was a young king who ruled over a small island named Ithaca. Then when the trojan war came Odysseus and his men went to the war. 10 years later, Odysseus and his men almost haven up until they came up with a brilliant trick! They thought that maybe they can make a wooden horse filled with soldiers in it. Then the trojans will think it was a present from the gods and bring it in the city. Then at night, Odysseus and his men will invade the city. It worked!. But on there way back, they met cyclops, a hydra, and many other monsters included.....

First day, First week...

Hello readers! As you can see the first week of school is almost over, but many kids were struggling this year to get used to there horrid teacher or there evil classmates. Don't believe me? Take Ilizz M. from Poland for example...

And yes... She speaks Polish.
But thanks to the English teacher in Warsaw, David Cuevas will translate her report on the worst  first day of school............

Dare to read on the report?

Okay, maybe Ilizz was exaggerating a little.
Well You get the point!
Happy first week of school!
